What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Manage and resolve inquiries related to patient accounts and billing
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with billing software and claims processing
- Additional certifications in healthcare administration or customer service
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations
