What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize personal computer to access assigned US Federal computer for feature data extraction
- Collect topographic features such as roads, rivers, and buildings from imagery
- Complete tasks within estimated hours and meet quality standards
- Provide support for the Janus Geography contract
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. citizenship required
- BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
- Previous experience supporting the Janus Geography contract preferred
- Strong knowledge of GIS with multiple GIS courses or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with feature data extraction for other companies
- Experience in remote work environments
- Additional certifications in GIS or related fields
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
