What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote the sale of life insurance products in a call center environment, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Complete necessary applications and forms, ensuring compliance with internal processing procedures
- Provide advanced technical and product information in response to customer inquiries to achieve sales goals
- Meet established sales goals and performance expectations as defined by management
- Successfully complete training related to all life insurance products and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School degree or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of 2 or more years of sales and/or customer service experience required; at least one year in the insurance and/or financial services preferred
- Current license to sell life insurance
- Proven track record of providing a high level of customer-focused services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to a range of audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a high-volume call center environment
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and web-related products
- Ability to manage and navigate multiple sources of information effectively
- Strong inter-personal skills and team collaboration experience
- Willingness to work extended/irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
