      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits and compile claims for submission, ensuring timely resolution of rejections
      - Communicate with department staff to address billing accuracy and charge capture issues
      - Update electronic medical records (EMR) and patient accounts as needed
      - Resolve claims issues by filing corrective claims and appeals as necessary
      - Document actions throughout the claim life cycle in relevant software tools

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing or related fields
      - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen process management is a plus
      - Certification as CPC, CPAT, or CPAM preferred but not required
      - Must have a personal computer that meets company software and security standards

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a medical billing company, acute hospital organization, or behavioral health facility
      - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
      - Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
      - Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in claims management
      - Ability to present professionally in virtual meetings
