      We are seeking talented UNIVERSAL PROFESSIONALS to work overnight, between the hours of 11pm - 8am EST, for our remote Orkin Customer Contact Center. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and/or holidays to ensure we have consistent support for our customers.

      Responsibilities

      At Orkin, our purpose is to help protect the world where we live, work and play. We have a FAST PACED, fully remote National Customer Contact Center with dedicated inbound sales, web sales, lost lead sales, customer service, and termite billing/claims teams.

      Our Universal Representatives are key to supporting our field offices and customers overnight by taking customer service and sales calls. The Pest Management Industry is growing – and is a recession-resistant line of business.       In this role, you will provide World Class Customer Service and Phone Sales to our customers.

      Orkin’s ABCs of a successful Universal Representative are:

      • A nswer questions from prospective customers regarding Orkin services
      • B uild rapport and handle objections within a conversational call flow
      • C lose pest control sales via the telephone and schedule the initial service

      You will…

      • Work remotely from your home office. You must have a minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mpbs upload high speed internet connection. We will provide the computer and other equipment necessary to be successful in this role
      • Manage the customer relationship to ensure best in class service, while also identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
      • Retain business by offering several remedies to prevent account cancellations
      • Recommend additional services to increase protection value for residences
      • Use different gamification methods as a tool to measure performance

      Qualifications

      What’s required

      • High School/GED
      • 1 – 2 years customer service experience within or outside a call center
      • Completion of a Culture Index assessment
      • Verification of internet speed
      • Ability to pass a computer assessment

      Work from home requirements

      • Appropriate workspace in your home, private/semiprivate home-office space free of distractions and background noise
      • A workspace with adequate furnishings (e.g., a desk and chair) and lighting

      • Strong computer skills in various software and web-based applications
