What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters in Epic Workqueues (WQs)
- Address price/contract discrepancies and collaborate with relevant analysts for corrections
- Participate in rebill projects aimed at recouping underpayments
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payer reimbursements and contracts
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Revenue Integrity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and High School Diploma are both required
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience with knowledge of hospital financial operations
- Experience in reimbursement, Medical Billing, Charge Master Development, and Maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of CPTs, HCPCs, and ICD-10 medical coding, as well as related APC Medicare reimbursement
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Epic Contracts Module Certification is preferred
