      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct medical record reviews and medical waiver adjudications
      - Perform military medical assessments in accordance with USCG and DoD policies
      - Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards in all medical evaluations
      - Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems including Cerner EMR, MHS GENESIS, and Joint Longitudinal Viewer
      - Assist with approved USCG commissioning and retention physicals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctorate or Master’s Degree in a medical field (PA, NP, or equivalent) from an accredited program
      - Current, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state
      - Board certification as a PA or NP
      - Minimum of three years of experience in medical record review or military medical assessments
      - At least one year of experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional specialty certifications in emergency medicine or behavioral health
      - Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
      - Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
      - Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification
