What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review orders and summarize the medical portion of the file
- Verify eligibility and benefits by making and receiving calls from health insurance companies
- Acquire pre-authorization by obtaining medical chart notes and contacting payers
- Maintain confidentiality of medical records and patient information
- Operate in strict compliance with all applicable laws
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Digital literacy skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Medical/Health Insurance knowledge
- Background in Medicare
- Proficiency in Spanish (Written & Oral)
