- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active CA DEA in good standing
- Experience working in a Psychiatric Forensic setting
- Malpractice Insurance

- Experience working with multiple EHR systems
- Experience working remotely and being self sufficient

What You Will Do to Change Lives
You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
Psychiatrist - Part-time, must have availability at least 3 days per week and one weekend per month
Schedule- Monday-Sunday 11pm-7:30am PST (Schedule determined 30 days in advance)
Compensation - (Independent Contractor-1099)
Nightly Rate - $300 per night scheduled
Face to Face Evaluation (Remotely) - $275 per evaluation
Bridge Medications - $150 per request
Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

The Alameda County CA Santa Rita Jail (located in Dublin, CA) is a medium-security detention center operated locally by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are held there for less than two years. The Santa Rita Jail holds about 4000 inmates housed in one of eighteen modern housing units. It is considered a “mega-jail” and ranks as the third largest facility in California and the fifth in the nation. It is recognized as one of the most technologically innovative jails in the world.
Telecare Corporation, the Alameda County Behavioral Health system, and the Santa Rita Jail have formed a unique partnership. Leveraging Telecare’s behavioral health expertise, an interdisciplinary team of nurses, clinicians, and prescribers will provide overnight services, including behavioral health screenings, assessments and evaluations, crisis services, and response to urgent and emergent referrals.
