What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patient appointments and provide customer service functions in the Radiology Department
- Manage patient reception, appointment check-in, and insurance verification
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls with efficiency
- Ensure patient information is accurately recorded and maintained
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance patient experience and streamline scheduling processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in direct customer/patient service, or one year internally within the employer's Radiology Department
- Must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota, and have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Ability to come to Saint Paul within an hour after training completion
- Strong communication and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of post-secondary education in healthcare or business administration
- Experience in a high-volume call center, particularly in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with healthcare scheduling processes
- Proficiency in using the Epic electronic medical record system
