      Job Title: Financial Reporting SpecialistJob Description

      We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to support the company's SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as earnings releases and related disclosures. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

      Responsibilities
      • Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
      • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Technical Accounting, Legal, and Tax to gather and validate financial information for external reporting.
      • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including analysis of financial statement fluctuations and key disclosures.
      • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation to support financial reporting conclusions and accounting positions.
      • Assist with SOX 404 compliance, including control documentation, testing support, and remediation efforts.
      • Serve as a key liaison with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
      • Monitor and research new accounting standards, SEC rules, and disclosure requirements, and assist with implementation as applicable.
      • Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting processes.
      • Support ad-hoc financial reporting projects, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate initiatives.
      Essential Skills
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
      • 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public company and/or Big 4 public accounting experience
      • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX controls
      • Experience preparing or supporting SEC filings in a complex, multi-entity organization
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
      Additional Skills & Qualifications
      • CPA license or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
      • Experience with consolidation and reporting systems is a plus
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
      Work Environment

      This position is fully remote. You will report to the Senior Director of Financial Reporting. The company is a large public entity with a great culture, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract position based out of Coral Gables, FL.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
