What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, solicit, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments to meet or exceed budgeted goals
- Manage all aspects of the Sales department in accordance with hotel standards
- Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the Sales department
- Determine and implement additional business or market segments for the hotel to pursue
- Establish special packages or programs to boost occupancy during slow periods and create advertising in support of these programs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 4 years progressive experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and coworkers
- High school graduate or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or business preferred
- Familiarity with local economy and market conditions
- Working knowledge of hotel operations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- Familiarity with Sales and Marketing tools
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
