What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day logistics operations
- Plan and review logistics processes to meet company standards and customer specifications
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure optimal team logistics
- Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations
- Conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one year of experience in a transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Up to one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Familiarity with health and safety initiatives in a logistics setting
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience with performance management and employee development
