What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop financial models for utility-scale battery storage projects
- Take ownership of financial models related to off-take, bidding, debt/equity structuring, and tax incentive strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to create and implement financial analysis and forecasting tools
- Optimize financial analytic processes and mitigate risk by reviewing macroeconomic trends in the renewables industry
- Engage in advanced discussions regarding utility-scale renewables, transmission, and battery storage
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in project finance supporting Power, Renewables, Capital Market, or Energy Infrastructure transactions
- Strong expertise in project finance modeling using Microsoft Excel and debt/equity structuring experience
- Proven experience with complex debt equity structures and tax equity transactions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses clearly
- Ability to participate in advanced discussions in the utility-scale renewables space
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with advanced project finance deal execution
- Familiarity with national energy power markets such as PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO
