  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Analyze financial information and prepare accurate reporting of sponsored project financial data
  - Serve as a liaison with departmental administrators and principal investigators for financial inquiries
  - Monitor and reconcile grant funds, identifying errors or discrepancies
  - Review and approve no-cost extension requests and maintain required financial records
  - Assist internal and external auditors by preparing necessary analyses
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
  - 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  - Knowledge of federal compliance regulations
  - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Previous experience in research accounting in a non-profit or higher education setting
  - Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 software
  - Familiarity with financial systems such as Banner Finance and COEUS
  - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  - Experience preparing journal entries and financial analyses
