What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop sound analytic frameworks and methodologies for addressing structured and unstructured problems
- Elicit stakeholder needs and generate requirements for aviation-related projects
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in aviation
- Communicate research results clearly and effectively to various stakeholders
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, engineering, mathematics, or data science); PhD preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in research and analysis, including AI and machine learning techniques
- Strong analytic curiosity and ability to operate independently
- Knowledge of research techniques and creation of research plans
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting AI/ML projects in data collection, model training, or evaluation
- Knowledge of FAA and international aviation domain, information technology, and cybersecurity policies
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Technical understanding of AI/ML algorithms
