What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct a variety of studies for both instructional and non-instructional programs and services for the District
- Collect, input, and report institutional information; run necessary statistical analyses
- Collaborate with managers to support external State and Federal reports within required timelines
- Prepare a variety of tables, charts, and graphs using Excel, PowerPoint, or other software
- Maintain accurate and confidential data files in both hard copy and electronic format

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, economics, or a related field
- One (1) year of experience in the collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation of research data
- Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of research design, data evaluation, and database management applicable to higher education

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in an educational setting is desirable
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, R, or SAS
- Familiarity with California Community College state MIS requirements and filing procedures
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new systems quickly
