      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in recruiting participants for clinical trials and perform informed consent procedures
      - Monitor participants' physical and emotional conditions throughout the study
      - Conduct data entry and manage research-related documentation
      - Coordinate participant visits and ensure attendance through outreach activities
      - Collaborate closely with study physicians to evaluate potential medical issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or medical sciences
      - Minimum of three (3) years of research-related experience
      - Certification as a Certified Research Specialist (CRS) or equivalent to be completed within two years of hire
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
      - Strong communication skills and attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems
      - Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines and HIPAA regulations
      - Ability to work with high-risk populations, particularly substance users
