What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in data collection and provide feedback on the study's progress
- Recruit subjects for participation in the study using approved methodologies
- Conduct enrollment of study participants, explaining research procedures and obtaining informed consent
- Schedule appointments for study participants and manage communication needs of the program
- Prepare and maintain Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals and correspondence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
- Experience in clinical research or public health, preferably with children and families
- Previous experience with subject recruitment and understanding ethical research conduct
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with statistical software is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole
- Cultural sensitivity and comfort with diverse social, racial, and ethnic populations
- Familiarity with data monitoring and safety board procedures
