What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and apply advanced machine learning algorithms for radar image analysis
- Collaborate with research teams on complex environmental projects
- Process and analyze large datasets from remote sensing technologies
- Contribute to the preparation of peer-reviewed publications
- Engage in ongoing research activities within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean Engineering
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong background in remote sensing and radar image analysis
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning techniques for image processing
- Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Track record of authored or co-authored scholarly publications is highly desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with interdisciplinary research collaborations
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data analysis
- Previous involvement in academic publishing or conference presentations
