What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and coordinate research communications using various strategies, including written, web-based, and social media
- Conceptualize, write, and design a broad range of communications to inform internal and external audiences about research initiatives
- Plan and execute in-person and virtual events to promote research and education programs
- Collaborate with research leaders to ensure effective messaging and outreach
- Ensure accurate reporting and organizational management of events planned months in advance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Public Administration, Business Administration, Scientific, Healthcare, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of communication or writing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in social media management, professional writing, and basic graphic design
- Familiarity with medical or scientific fields, along with photography or videography skills
- Proficient in desktop publishing software and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Knowledge of Hootsuite for social media management
