- Develop and manage essential database processes for survey and serological data collected in this project.
- Contribute to instrument design and coordinate collection of online survey data.
- Coordinate the distribution of at-home blood collection kits for serological testing and liaise with laboratory personnel on sample processing.
- Design and conduct statistical analyses of survey and serological data.
- Prepare analyses for presentations, reports, and scientific manuscripts.
- Document and monitor Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications in accordance with data safety and security protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
- Three years related experience
- Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula
- Master's Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Experience using REDCap or other software for database management.
- Experience in analysis of survey and/or serological data.
- Experience in programming using R.
The Infectious Disease Dynamics group in the Department of Epidemiology is seeking to hire a Research Data Analyst as part of a CDC-funded grant (via the Center for Forecasting and
Outbreak Analytics/Insight Net) on using novel data sources to inform infectious disease model development and outbreak analytics. The candidate will be responsible for study coordination, database development and management, and analysis and interpretation of primary data generated from large-scale online surveys and serological (antibody) testing. This position is based in Baltimore, MD.
