      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct research and statistical analyses to support program evaluation and process improvements
      - Develop methodologies for data collection, cleaning, and reporting on various programs
      - Prepare formal reports and presentations for management based on research findings
      - Collaborate with county partners, Sacramento-based staff, and external stakeholders on research initiatives
      - Lead team initiatives for new research inquiries and system innovation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework in a data-driven research-related field
      - Completion of at least one course in statistical methods
      - 12 semester or 18 quarter units in relevant fields such as economics, mathematics, or data science
      - Ability to conduct extensive statistical analyses using descriptive and inferential methods
      - Willingness to travel throughout California as needed

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in data analysis, report development, or large-scale project management
      - Familiarity with evidence-based program evaluation techniques
      - Strong communication skills for presenting findings to management and stakeholders
      - Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools
      - Background in working with healthcare or government programs
