      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee and coordinate all research activities within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
      - Manage the department’s research portfolio and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
      - Collaborate with faculty and medical students on study design, data collection, and analysis
      - Track departmental research productivity metrics and maintain reporting dashboards
      - Prepare and manage regulatory submissions, including IRB applications and grant proposals

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctorate (PhD) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field
      - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in research coordination, academic research management, or clinical research
      - Experience in a healthcare setting preferred; experience in Otolaryngology/ENT is a plus
      - No substitutions will be accepted for the PhD requirement
      - Ability to oversee data management and biostatistical analysis

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), or related certification in clinical research or research administration
      - Ability to obtain certification within one (1) year of hire
