What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and coordinate all research activities within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
- Manage the department’s research portfolio and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
- Support faculty investigators in project development, data management, and biostatistical analysis
- Expand and manage clinical trials in collaboration with faculty and institutional partners
- Track departmental publications and research productivity metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate (PhD) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in research coordination, academic research management, or clinical research
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred; experience in Otolaryngology/ENT is a plus
- No substitutions will be accepted for the PhD requirement
- Ability to obtain relevant clinical research certification within one (1) year of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP)
- Experience with research data systems such as REDCap
- Familiarity with grant development and submission processes
- Strong background in biostatistical analysis
- Previous experience supporting clinical trials
