      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop high-quality statistical software by designing, programming, testing, and documenting code
      - Research and select appropriate statistical methods and computational algorithms

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related area
      - 5 years of experience in programming
      - Strong mathematical skills
      - Background in computational mathematics, especially in numerical linear algebra and operations research

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with numerical libraries like LAPACK and GSL
      - Experience writing cache and GPU aware programs in C
      - Experience writing commercial software
