What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Advance strategic research projects to generate and utilize evidence across the humanitarian sector
- Support the design and quality assurance of research and ‘evidence for influence’ projects
- Project manage and contribute to the substance and content of strategic research and innovation projects
- Facilitate team engagement and uphold research quality standards within a diverse team
- Assist in policy engagement and thought leadership by synthesizing high-impact findings and generating content
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the NGO sector
- Experience in planning, leading, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects in humanitarian contexts
- Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative social science and health research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with humanitarian and/or impact research
- Familiarity with international politics, humanitarian, and development policies
- Proven ability to advance multiple strategic initiatives concurrently
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable interest in team and organizational strategy
