What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in the design and synthesis of novel lipids and polymers for biomacromolecule delivery
- Conduct small-molecule synthesis, product purification via column chromatography, and compound characterization
- Maintain precise experimental documentation to support research efforts
- Contribute to the daily operations of the laboratory
- Collaborate with team members on research projects and advancements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- No prior experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced research environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least one year of hands-on experience in lipid, polymer, or small-molecule synthesis
- Demonstrated experience in chemical synthesis, particularly with stimuli-responsive lipids or polymers
- Proficiency in column chromatography for compound purification
- Familiarity with standard laboratory safety protocols and procedures
- Genuine interest in scientific discovery with a proactive approach to research
