What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute research activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Recruit participants and maintain communication throughout the research process
- Collect, organize, and analyze research data as necessary
- Create and maintain research databases, ensuring data accuracy and security
- Monitor compliance with ethical standards and institutional regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in research laboratory testing and analysis
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with incarcerated individuals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of human subjects' behavioral research, particularly with vulnerable populations
- Previous experience working with individuals living with mental illness in a professional capacity
- Proficiency with online survey software such as REDCap or Qualtrics
