What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the design, conduct, evaluation, and enhancement of research methods and procedures
- Perform data analysis and summary for presentations, manuscripts, and grant proposals
- Train laboratory personnel and students in research methods, procedures, and equipment
- Maintain laboratory animals and manage supply inventories
- Ensure general maintenance of the laboratory and development of operational guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a research laboratory setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Prism, Adobe Photoshop, Endnote, SigmaPlot, and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a scientific field
- Experience with lab animal handling (mice/rats), tissue culture, and immunoassay
- Knowledge of ELISA, immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, whole animal biology, and PCR
- Experience in developing new protocols and managing day-to-day laboratory operations
- Supervisory experience with students and new personnel
