      Responsibilities Job Description

      We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team at Willows Bend senior assisted living and memory care in Fridley, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;

      • 40 hours every two weeks
      • Part time, Day shift
      • Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

      Job Duties:

      • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
      • Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
      • May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
      • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
      • Assists with onboarding of new staff

      Required Qualifications:

      • Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting
      • Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
      • CNA certificate required if under 18
      • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course
      • One to three years of previous experience

      Qualifications

      $21.32-$29.57 / Hourly
