What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Order and review title reports for issuing title insurance; identify and resolve title defects, liens, and encumbrances related to transactions
- Establish escrow accounts by depositing funds and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare transaction and closing documents, collecting and verifying supporting documentation
- Independently handle certain escrow transactions from opening through closing with minimal supervision
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including wire fraud prevention procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Escrow Assistant
- Direct experience handling residential and/or commercial escrow transactions
- Valid licensing and/or certification as required by applicable state regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with both residential and commercial escrow transactions strongly preferred
