What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Resolve and negotiate a high-volume caseload efficiently
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in cases
- Review and evaluate case files to determine legal strategy
- Independently assess case value and handle calculations for various disability types
- Manage case negotiations and settlements, with potential travel to trial locations as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of legal Workers' Compensation experience
- Proven ability to meet or exceed settlement metric requirements
- Strong knowledge of California Workers' Compensation regulations
- Expertise in EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyze legal documents on digital platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual (English + Spanish) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams)
