      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide direct support to Utilization Management Case Managers
      - Conduct daily data collection and manage communication with internal and external customers
      - Enter approved Length of Stay (LOS) and denial information in the electronic medical record system
      - Collaborate with admitting staff to ensure accurate patient insurance and prior authorization
      - Manage incoming communications and documentation related to utilization management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma
      - 2+ years of related experience in medical terminology, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), hospital utilization management, or case management
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients and families
      - Strong assessment and crisis intervention abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree
      - Familiarity with community services and resources
      - Previous experience in prior authorization processes
      - Demonstrated customer service and advocacy skills
