  Job Summary

  Perform general accounting functions in order to support and maintain an effective accounting program

  Job Description

  Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
  • Prepare accounting information to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Review and approve appropriate documentation
  • Collect, review and analyze data to prepare consolidation statement

  • Support retail accounting close process with journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
  
  Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
  • Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications in Accounting with 3-4 years related work experience
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, mainframe applications, and other office equipment

  Primary Job Duties include but not limited to:

  • Retail COGS Accounting
  • Sales Tax and Gross Receipts Tax Accounting
  • Escheat
