      Summary:

      As a Retail Sales Analyst you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward by providing in-depth analysis, creating detailed retail reports, forecasting a rolling 12-month sales, POS and Trade inventory number, and analyzing customer behavior and transaction data for our retail partners. You will also serve as a strategy partner while compiling and analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to the Sales and leadership team to help drive business growth.

      Essential Duties:

      Sales Data Analysis:

      • Gather, clean, and analyze sales data from various sources, including point-of-sale systems, trade inventory reports and market trends
      • Identify sales patterns, trends, and opportunities to uncover potential growth areas and challenges.
      • Monitor sales and inventory trends to suggest reorders on fast sellers and suggest alternative measures on slow sellers.

      Forecasting:

      • Utilize historical sales data, POS, Trade Inventory, and market trends to create accurate rolling 12-month Sales, POS and Trade inventory forecasts.
      • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

      Performance Reporting and Data Visualization:

      • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and KPIs
      • Monitor and evaluate product performance, promotional activities, and overall sales effectiveness
      • Create clear and concise data visualizations, graphs, and charts to facilitate data-driven decision-making
      • Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

      Sales Strategy and Planning:

      • Work with the sales team to develop a rolling 12-month effective strategies for increasing product visibility and market share
      • Collaborate with sales and channel marketing teams to provide necessary analytics in preparation for line review, Joint Business Planning Meetings, internal meetings and any other data needs across our portfolio of brands and categories.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
      • Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.

      Education, Qualifications and/or Experience:

      • Four-year college degree in business, marketing or related field.
      • Four or more years of related work experience or four plus years of job specific work experience combined with equivalent training/education to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
      • The ability to deliver complex analysis to a wide audience in a credible and relevant manner and receive questions and feedback for further consideration.
      • The ability to play a key and influential role working with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
      • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skillset with a track record of successfully managing change.
      • Intermediate to advance proficiency level in the following areas: Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Tableau or Power BI, business writing concepts and techniques.
      • Exceptional customer service skills.
      • Intermediate level understanding of accounting and reporting principles and practices.
      • Knowledge of marketing and sales terminology, concepts and business operating procedures.

      Compensation:

      Salary Range: $96,616- $108,948
      *This salary range represents Weber's good faith belief of what we reasonably expect to pay the top candidate
