      Amazon.com is seeking an EU Retirement Benefits Manager to join our International Retirement and Savings Team. This hands-on individual contributor role will partner extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners to execute end to end plan management for our International retirement programs. Qualified candidates will have prior pension/retirement program management experience including plan management, investment performance monitoring, compliance, and with a focus on improving the employee experience at all stages. The candidate will develop and execute on program/business level risk and compliance, and manage program level reporting metrics. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and part of a project team when required, will be innovative, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change, and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with a demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams, and numerous stakeholders, directly and through influence.

      Flexible Location: United Kingdom, Luxembourg
      International travel may be required.

      Key job responsibilities
      - Program and Investment Performance Management – Perform and manage the end to end plan design and operations of pension plans across several countries within EU.
      - Develop and implement solutions that increase employee satisfaction and financial well-being. Supporting strategic initiatives and objectives to support future business growth.
      - Participate in and/or lead local RFI/RFPs with working groups consisting of Amazon internal business stakeholders. Develop employee communications and partner with local Benefit teams.
      - Research and Reporting – Identify potential areas of improved employee experience, investment and vendor performance, develop and implement corrective action plans for improved services, and develop plans on how to prevent employee pain points from occurring. Research market trends, changes in legislation and new services, and adept in Amazon systems and tools.
      - Corporate Governance and Compliance – Ensure local plans are administered in compliance with plan documents and applicable regulations, identify and build a comprehensive and sustainable compliance review for existing and new retirement plans, monitor program costs, advise on current trends and global best operational practices.

      London, GBR- Demonstrated experience of project and program management
      - Very good command of written and spoken English
      - Demonstrated ability to achieve program success through influence and partnership from design to delivering of initiatives
      - Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to interface with all levels of the organization and demonstrated ability to influence decision makers
      - Deep understanding and experience in delivering high levels of customer service
      - Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on a number of projects/initiatives at the same time in a rapidly growing environment
      - Strong data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data in order to make data-backed business decisions
      - Ability to develop ad-hoc reporting to meet specific business needs and inquiries
      - Successful record of building operational processes and procedures, continuously improving programs and efficiencies
      - In depth experience in end to end retirement benefits, pensions compliance, vendor management and investment performance monitoring- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR or related field or equivalent professional experience
      - Experience in global benefits/retirement administration, compliance and program management
      - Experience influencing senior leaders, in partnership with cross functional business leaders, to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations
      - Proven track record of working effectively with people across a large, complex organization to create and launch innovative, successful solutions
      - Strong business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
      - Flexibility, sharp organizational and process-oriented skills, and a self-starting work ethic
      - Strong analytical and data gathering skills (including Excel and database analysis)
      - Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in an ambiguous and deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate and communicate with business partners and teams
      - Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and drive projects to successful implementation
      - Strong business judgment and a practical, common sense approach to solving complex problems
      - Flexibility, sharp organizational and process-oriented skills, and a self-starting work ethic
      - Demonstrated passion for delivering a great customer experience
