      Job Description Summary
      The Retirement Services Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality services and processes that support GE Aerospace Retirement Plans and Payroll & Benefits operations. This role emphasizes data integrity, analysis, and efficient execution to support key HR decisions and ensure compliance with legislative rules. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Specialist addresses inquiries from employees, suppliers, and HRMs in a timely and professional manner while fostering effective relationships and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the role focuses on continuous improvement to enhance customer service levels, streamline processes, and resolve operational issues, promoting "Best in Class" service delivery.

      Job Description

      Essential Responsibilities:
      • Provide support and services across GE Aerospace Retirement Plans, including managing daily reports and case workloads, researching historical records, resolving customer escalations, supporting system changes and testing, conducting outreach for benefit counseling/education, and assisting with periodic plan audits.
      • Ensure performance standards and metrics are met while actively seeking opportunities to improve processes.
      • Collaborate with others and independently troubleshoot to identify and resolve systematic production issues and escalations for internal and external customers.
      • Deliver efficient services and standard work with a strong focus on customer service, interacting directly with employees, HRMs, people managers, and stakeholders.
      • Manage competing priorities by analyzing, interpreting, and developing solutions to complex problems.
      • Lead small independent projects and cleanups as needed.
      • Apply Lean principles to maintain functional standard work.
      • Build relationships with internal teams, vendor partners, customers, and end users to understand their needs and fulfill them through functional services and processes.
      • Foster a positive team environment and culture that promotes collaboration and inspiration in the workplace.


      Qualifications/ Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the Human Resources field).
      • At least 2 years of operational experience supporting one or more GE Aerospace Retirement Plans.

      • Experience in customer service delivery.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and resolve business challenges.
      • Ability to assess the quality of information provided and ask relevant questions to stakeholders.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences.


      Pay and Benefits:
      • The base pay range for this position is $71,900 - 90,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 21st, 2025.
