      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure accurate and timely billing and collection of medical claims
      - Conduct chart reviews on documentation and correct coding to ensure compliance with regulations
      - Train providers in proper documentation and coding based on chart reviews
      - Process all charges and clear coding edits generated by EMR/PM systems
      - Serve as an intermediary between healthcare providers, patients, and health insurance companies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma required
      - Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical coding, medical auditing, or billing in a multi-specialty outpatient/professional billing setting
      - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
      - Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines
      - Ability to resolve patient inquiries and manage client customer service

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree preferred
      - 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle, medical coding, or medical auditing
      - Experience with process improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience
      - Knowledge of governmental and contractual obligations related to healthcare billing
      - Familiarity with EMR/PM systems for effective claims processing
