      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Resolve or coordinate the resolution of pre-bill edits, post-bill denials, and patient inquiries related to outpatient accounts
      - Provide education and feedback to the Billing and Follow-up team to reduce the number of edits
      - Plan, organize, and prioritize work while maintaining departmental quality assurance and productivity standards
      - Review policies and practices for compliance with legal standards and ensure adherence to departmental procedures
      - Assume responsibility for professional development and complete assigned special projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent
      - Certification from an accredited Billing and Coding trade school or completion of the employer's coding intern program
      - Certified Professional Coding certification required within 6 months of employment
      - Strong analytical, interpretive, communication, decision-making, judgment, and technical writing skills
      - Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in coding review for ICD-9-CM / ICD-10-CM
