      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review Explanation of Benefits, denial letters, and payor correspondence to classify the type of appeal required
      - Gather, prepare, and review documentation needed to submit appeals according to payor guidelines
      - Engage with patients via phone and mail to collect necessary information for the appeal process
      - Document details, requirements, and deadlines of each appeal in billing software
      - Conduct timely follow-ups with payors regarding the status of appeals and discuss outcomes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be fluent in English
      - Minimum of one (1) year of medical billing experience
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Knowledge of navigating insurance payor portals and verifying insurance claim status
      - Intermediate computer skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Minimum of one (1) year experience in a call center environment
      - Above-average knowledge of insurance billing guidelines and policies
      - Experience with Commercial Insurance processes and policies
      - Familiarity with BCBS Insurance
      - High school diploma, GED, or significant relevant work experience
