What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support management in maintaining and improving billing and collection processes for facility government receivables
- Resolve AHCA reporting errors and conduct Medicare inpatient pre-billing reviews for accuracy
- Act as the point of contact between departments and external entities for audits, ensuring clear communication
- Maintain PECOS claims data and facilitate improvements in system policies to ensure compliance
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in billing and compliance across all government payers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare-related fields, specifically in hospital billing, coding, or reimbursement
- AAHAM Certified Compliance Technician required within one year of accepting the position
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, and OneNote
- Ability to type 20 wpm

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
- Experience with DDE, Epic, SSI Billing System, and Document Imaging
- Coding certification preferred, covering CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9-10, and DRG
