      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure accurate CPT and ICD-10 documentation for patient billing processes
      - Perform charge entry, approvals, and quality reviews, including checking clinical documentation
      - Educate clinical staff on the importance of accurate and complete documentation
      - Conduct regular reviews of charge capture processes and identify missing charges
      - Coordinate with stakeholders regarding system changes and charge reconciliation processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Minimum three (3) years of relevant coding and charge control work experience in a hospital or physician practice environment
      - Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and hospital operations
      - Licensure or certification in relevant coding credentials preferred (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC)
      - Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with electronic medical records and charge capture processes
      - Knowledge of clinical documentation improvement processes
      - Familiarity with appeals for insurance denials and root cause analysis
      - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      - Strong understanding of billing and regulatory guidelines related to revenue cycle processes
