Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Maximize reimbursement by identifying contractual variances in reimbursement for managed care, government contracts, and other payors.
- Analyze payment discrepancies and communicate with internal and external departments.
- Identify trends in underpayment/overpayments, denials, revenue opportunities, and revenue leakage.
- Evaluate trends and work towards resolutions and improvement of revenue cycle processes.
- Analyze and interpret contract reimbursement and provide feedback to management.
- Review remittance data for charge/billing opportunities for revenue optimization.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the hospital insurance industry.
- Understanding of the revenue cycle and uncollected revenue.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain CRCR certification within 9 months of hire.
