Overview
Florida East Coast Railway is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Revenue Specialist to join our accounting group in Jacksonville, FL. This position handles business-to-business account follow-up and collections as needed for our customers. The position is day shift Monday-Friday on-site. Candidate must be flexible to work later hours during month-end close activities and support team, even on holidays.
Relocation assistance is NOT offered for this position.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
· Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
· Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
· Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
· Resolve billing and customer credit issues
· Update account status records and collection efforts
· Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
· Assist with Internal and External Audit Requests
· Account Reconciliations
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 4+ years of railroad or trucking revenue experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably with an emphasis Finance or Accounting
· Knowledge of TL2000 and JD Edwards E1
· Intermodal Directory, Carload Directory, Drayage Circular experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact across different levels of the organization and with external clients

· Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
· Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Up to 10% travel required
· The applicant selected for this position will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test
· Passing results must be received prior to start date in new position
