      Enbridge is seeking a Risk Advisor to support safe, reliable, and informed decision‑making across our Gas Operations in Canada and the United States. In this role, you will help identify and evaluate risks related to asset integrity, operational reliability, health, safety and environment.

      You will apply risk‑assessment methodologies and translate complex technical insights into practical, actionable recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to major investment decisions, value assessments, operational planning, and partner understanding.

      What You Will Do:

      Risk Assessment & Analysis

      • Apply fit‑for‑purpose risk assessment methodologies to identify, analyze, and evaluate operational risks across health and safety, operations, environmental, reputational, and financial domains, using both qualitative risk workshop technique and semi-quantitative approaches such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Event Tree Analysis (ETA), as appropriate to risk complexity.

      • Implement and communicate the As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) principle to ensure risk reduction measures are proportionate and defensible.

      • Perform risk tolerability assessments to support informed decision‑making and alignment with operational risk criteria.

      • Conduct value assessments, including risk and benefit analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.

      • Collaborate with partners to understand and incorporate their needs into risk assessments.

      • Develop clear, concise, and professional risk assessment documentation tailored to a diverse range of internal and external partners.

      Who you are:

      Required Qualifications

      • Related university degree (preferably in Engineering) and 4+ years of experience OR 6+ years of previous field operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

      • Strong numerical analysis skills and attention to detail.

      • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities with diverse audiences.

      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

      • Ability to prepare clear, technical risk reports and documentation.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in integrity, reliability, or pipeline engineering.

      • Experience working with gas distribution assets.

      • Experience with statistical or data analysis.

      • P.Eng for Canadian candidates and/or PE designation for U.S.–based applicants.

      Working Conditions

      • Primarily office‑based.

      • Occasional travel required between Enbridge sites or to other locations for meetings

      For Ontario: The salary range for this role is in the range of $82,000- $95,000 CAD.

      US only Benefits

      The salary range for this role is in the range of $95,000- $110,000 USD.

      *Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

      Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

      Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect colour coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to work in tight spaces.

      Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

      Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
