What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of appraisals and BPOs to provide independent valuation recommendations
- Analyze location characteristics and market data to assess property values and anticipated selling prices
- Consolidate disparate data sources into clear insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Devise metrics for loan approval and collaborate on testing and process improvements
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports and strategic assessments for executive leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate valuation, risk analysis, underwriting, or a similar analytical role
- Strong understanding of appraisal methods and property valuation techniques
- Proven ability to analyze location characteristics and use localized market data
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MAI, ASA, CFA)
- Experience in statistical analysis or modeling
- Familiarity with comparable sales analysis and local market trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to varied audiences
