What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write long-form content on topics such as SOX compliance, risk assessments, and IT cybersecurity frameworks
- Create content tailored to various stakeholders, including audit directors and infosec leaders
- Translate complex regulatory information into clear, digestible content
- Collaborate with editors and strategists to align content with client goals and SEO strategies
- Ensure projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and adhere to brand voice guidelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3–5+ years of experience writing B2B content, preferably in audit, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or IT governance
- Background in IT operations, security, or compliance roles
- Familiarity with enterprise tools and processes related to SOX and internal controls
- Strong ability to synthesize expert input and regulatory frameworks into impactful content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for narrative storytelling in complex topics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience writing for senior decision-makers with a focus on accuracy and clarity
- Knowledge of frameworks such as SOX, NIST, ISO, or similar standards
- SEO experience with a proven ability to optimize content without compromising quality
- A recent portfolio showcasing technical writing in risk and compliance topics
- Positive attitude and willingness to embrace feedback for continuous improvement
