  We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic RVS Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director, River Valley Strategy, you will play a vital part in driving the business strategy forward through both economic growth and enhancing employee retention strategies.   What is The River Valley Strategy?

  A strategy to create and retain sustainable career opportunities in the Florenceville-Bristol area through the attraction of talent and the improvement of the socio-economic conditions.

  Responsibilities:

  • Help position the River Valley Region as a great place to live and work.
  • Collaborate with the RVS team to support initiatives aimed at promoting business growth and enhancing the economic landscape of our region.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and community needs.
  • Facilitate a supportive process and network to ensure a positive experience for new hires or employees relocating to the area.
  • Build and sustain relationships with employees, community members, partners, and organizations to garner support for RVS and the local area.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee retention strategies and programs, focusing on creating a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Assist in designing and conducting employee surveys, analyzing feedback to identify areas of improvement and implementing action plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to project initiatives and outcomes.
  • Assist with organizing community outreach programs and special events that promote RVS.
  • Assist with coordinating onsite and offsite events.
  • Maintain RVS website to ensure up-to-date information as it relates to the business as well as the local region.

  Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR, communications/public relations/marketing, community relations of economic development would be an asset.
  • 2-5 years plus business management experience in a corporate setting (or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of coordinating projects through the engagement and collaboration of other individuals and groups
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong inclination to drive for results and take accountability.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with content management systems
