      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation to support coding process
      - Formulate clarifications and confer with providers to clarify clinical diagnosis terminology
      - Train providers and caregivers to improve accuracy of clinical documentation and impact on coding and reimbursement
      - Review clinical documentation and work with key stakeholders to ensure accurate coding and reimbursement
      - Act as a resource for best practices in clinical documentation and educate key stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Accredited School of Nursing or Doctor of Medicine
      - Minimum of 3 years recent acute care or Clinical Documentation experience in a hospital setting
      - Registered Nurse or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist required
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to analyze and problem solve

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist in a hospital program
      - Knowledge of JA Thomas and 3M 360 Encompass CAC software
      - Knowledge of value-based purchasing and other quality metrics affecting the clinical documentation integrity program
